The 2026 Print Drop FAQ:
Q: When can I order?
A: Friday, October 9 at 9:00 AM Eastern until Sunday, October 11 at 9:00 AM Eastern. Forty-eight hours, then the page comes down.
Q: How many prints will be made?
A: However many are ordered during those 48 hours. That's the whole edition. If five sell, five exist. If forty sell, forty exist. Each print is signed and numbered by hand out of that final total, so the number on yours is a record of who showed up.
Q: Can I buy before it opens?
A: No. Subscribers get a private link on September 25 to see the full collection — every painting, every size, every price — two weeks ahead. You can look and decide, but nobody can buy until the shop opens on the 9th.
Q: Will these ever come back?
A: No. I open the shop once a year, and each edition closes when the window closes. There's no restock and no second run.
Q: When will it ship?
A: Four to six weeks after the close. I don't print anything until the window ends, because the edition size isn't known until then. After that it's printing, quality checks, numbering, signing, and packing — all by hand, and I'd rather it take an extra week than arrive wrong.
Q: Will it fit a standard frame?
A: Yes. Every size is a stock frame size you can buy anywhere — no matting and no trip to a frame shop. The image sits inside a white margin that carries the signature and edition number.
Q: What are they printed on?
A: Archival pigment ink on 100% cotton rag, printed at Hunter Editions in Kennebunk, Maine. Signed and numbered in the margin by hand, with a certificate of authenticity.
Q: Do you ship outside the US?
A: Yes. Order as normal and I'll email you the shipping difference before anything goes out. Any customs duties or import taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
Q: What if it arrives damaged?
A: Accept the delivery even if the packaging looks rough, then open it and photograph anything wrong. Email me and I'll sort it out.
Q: Can I see the originals?
A: Yes — studio visits in Kennebunk by appointment. Email majkowski.studio@gmail.com.
